Michael Doughty denies Millwall with Swindon leveller

Swindon had Michael Doughty to thank after his late equaliser rescued a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw at home to Millwall.

The hosts had trailed for the majority of the game but produced a brilliant second-half performance to snatch what could prove to be a priceless point in the race for a play-off place.

It had all started so well for the visitors as Lee Gregory notched his 22nd goal of the season with just six minutes on the clock after bursting clean through on goal.

More suspect defending from the hosts then allowed veteran frontman Steve Morison to double his side's advantage five minutes later.

Swindon showed signs of improvement as the game wore on and clawed a goal back just past the hour mark, Nicky Ajose converting from the penalty spot after Raphael Rossi Branco was hauled down inside the area.

Swindon completed a remarkable turnaround with the last kick of the game as Doughty slid in to stab home a last-gasp equaliser after Millwall failed to clear their lines.
