Late fightback earns Swindon a point against Coventry

Swindon scored twice in the final five minutes to rescue a point from their 2-2 draw with Coventry at the County Ground.

After falling two goals behind, thanks to efforts from Romain Vincelot and Marcus Tudgay, the struggling Robins battled back with strikes from Ben Gladwin and Nicky Ajose from the penalty spot.

Following a first half of limited chances, Coventry took the lead in the 66th minute. Chris Stokes crossed from the left and, when goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux misjudged the aerial ball, Vincelot was left with a simple finish at the back post.

The visitors appeared to make the points safe in the 79th minute when Adam El-Abd dragged down Jacob Murphy and Tudgay prodded home the rebound after his initial penalty was saved - but Swindon had other ideas.

Gladwin smashed in a late effort to give the hosts hope and the Robins clawed level in stoppage time as Ajose was dragged to the floor by Aaron Martin before stepping up to send Reice Charles-Cook the wrong way from the spot.
