Will Grigg at the double as Wigan march on

Will Grigg scored twice as promotion-chasing Wigan extended their unbeaten run to 17 matches with a 4-1 demolition of 10-man Swindon at the County Ground.

Grigg put Latics in front after only 15 minutes, sweeping home Chris McCann's left-wing cross from six yards.

Wigan took the game away from Swindon with three further goals in the space of four minutes at the start of the second half.

Max Power grabbed the goal of the game within two minutes of the restart, cutting in from the left wing before unleashing an unstoppable shot from 22 yards.

Grigg scored his second three minutes later with a deflected effort from just inside the penalty area.

Sam Morsy added to Swindon's humiliation less than 60 seconds later by picking out the bottom corner from 20 yards.

Nicky Ajose had a long-range free-kick tipped over by Wigan goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen before claiming a consolation goal 11 minutes from time.

Swindon's misery was compounded in the 85th minute as captain Nathan Thompson was sent off for a reckless lunge on McCann.
