Gillingham hit back to see off Swindon

Gillingham came from behind to secure their second successive away victory as Swindon were beaten 3-1 at the County Ground.

Bradley Dack, Jake Hessenthaler and Ryan Jackson scored the goals for the visitors, after Jon Obika had handed Swindon the lead, to end the hosts' four-match winning run.

Swindon took the lead in the 18th minute. Fabien Robert fed Ben Gladwin on the left and the on-loan QPR midfielder played in Obika, who side-footed beyond Stuart Nelson for his sixth goal of the season.

The lead lasted less than 90 seconds. From the restart, Gillingham advanced down the left and Dack cut infield to place his shot into the bottom left-hand corner.

With 10 minutes remaining before the break, the visitors edged in front. Raphael Branco mistimed his clearance and Hessenthaler was on hand to fire home.

Gillingham dominated until half-time and retained their superiority after the break, with Jackson adding a third in the 69th minute from 25 yards.

Branco was sent off late on after collecting his second yellow card, while Dack saw a stoppage-time penalty saved by home goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux.
