Glovers rock Robins

Swindon's automatic promotion hopes suffered a huge blow as James Berrett's second-half strike sealed a 1-0 smash-and-grab raid for Yeovil.

The home side dominated possession but failed to make the break through, with Ben Gladwin hitting a post and Michael Smith seeing a shot deflected on to the crossbar.

The relegated Glovers claimed the three points with a rare counter-attack as Berrett's low shot from 20 yards beat goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.

Swindon dominated throughout but were unable to find the goal they undoubtedly deserved.

Jon Obika had the Robins' best chance in the first half when Nathan Byrne's cross presented him with an open goal but he lashed his shot into the side-netting.

Yeovil keeper Artur Krysiak reacted well to keep out a long-range free-kick from Sam Ricketts, while Obika headed just wide from a Massimo Luongo cross.

But it was Gladwin who came closest in the first period, curling a shot against a post from 25 yards out.

Yeovil's only threat before the break came from a Kieffer Moore header which was well saved by Foderingham.
