Danny Wilson has been handsomely rewarded for taking a gamble on the former Poole Town striker back in October, with Austin soon forcing his way into the first team before scoring seven goals in seven starts.[LNB]Ipswich and Nottingham Forest and are among the sides linked with a move but Wilson has already spoken to the 20-year-old about extending his stay beyond the end of this season. The Robins also have a clause in his existing contract which suggests he will stay and just requires triggering.[LNB]Austin himself told skysports.com: "I would be delighted to sign a new contract at Swindon as I am enjoying every minute. Swindon have been very good to me giving me the chance to play, Danny Wilson and all the backroom team have been great to me and that has helped me a lot.[LNB]"Of course it is very flattering to be linked with other clubs but it is only speculation. I don't read too much into it, I would rather concentrate on my football and let my agent David Threlfall deal with that side of things."[LNB][LNB]
