Swindon assistant manager Peter Shirtliff has followed Danny Wilson out of the County Ground, it has been announced. Wilson resigned from his position as manager on Wednesday evening due to the club`s lowly league position in League One on the back of a poor run of results. And Shirtliff has now also departed having been recruited by Wilson from Tranmere in the summer of 2009. Chairman Andrew Fitton, who has appointed Paul Hart as boss until the end of the season, told Town`s official website: "On behalf of everyone at Swindon Town FC I would like to thank Peter for all his work during his time with the club. "We all wish him well for the future." Swindon have confirmed goalkeeping coach George Wood will remain in his position.
