The on-loan Leeds defender has been out of action for five weeks with the hamstring injury he sustained against Gillingham.

Whether he starts against the Cumbrians remains to be seen but he is in line to play some part as the Robins look to extend their 10-match unbeaten run in League One.

Cameroon-born striker Vincent Pericard is preparing to come up against the team he left last month in order to sign for Swindon, although he will most likely have to settle for a place on the bench.

David Lucas recovered from a groin problem to take his place between the sticks for last weekend's 2-2 draw at Huddersfield and, despite being at fault for the opener, contributed with a superb performance that will see him keep the number one spot.

New loan signing Matt Ritchie is still waiting to make his debut following his arrival from Portsmouth.
