Robins move for striker Andrew

Swindon have completed the loan signing of Crystal Palace striker Calvin Andrew on a one-month deal. Town have struggled for goals since losing Charlie Austin to Burnley during the January transfer window. Vincent Pericard has not played since mid-January due to his knee injury and fellow forwards Elliot Benyon and Thomas Dossevi has also recently spent spells on the sidelines. But manager Paul Hart has moved to rectify the problem by bringing in Andrew, 23, who is available to make his debut in Saturday`s crunch clash with fellow strugglers Dagenham & Redbridge. The powerful 6ft 3in striker trained with the Wiltshire club on Thursday afternoon. Andrew signed for Palace from Luton in the summer of 2008 and has so far managed three goals in a total of 59 appearances, most of which were as a substitute. He made three starts in a loan spell at Millwall earlier this season.
