Revell backing Brighton to climb

Revell made over 50 appearances for the Seagulls before joining Southend in January 2008, but is hoping to lead his current club back to winning ways this weekend.

He told the club's official website: "Obviously it's been a long time since I was there. Everything's changed, with a new chairman and a couple of managers have been and gone.

"They're having a bit of a hard time at the moment down in the bottom four but I think that come the end of the season they won't be there.

"They're a massive team and the fan base is excellent there and personally for me, when I was there, I couldn't say a bad word about anything that was there.

"But I think the players there are probably under a bit of pressure because the fans want to get promoted and so does the chairman. It's a big game for us, obviously because of Saturday's result, but it's a big game for them because they need to start winning and climbing up that table."
