Hart takes heart from Dagenham display

Manager Paul Hart was delighted with the performance of his Swindon players despite being held to a 1-1 draw at home by relegation rivals Dagenham. Mike Grella lobbed Town into a half-time lead, only for Jon Nurse to level matters for the Daggers late on courtesy of a lucky deflection. Swindon appeared to be denied a penalty deep into injury-time when Paul Caddis was body checked by two Dagenham defenders, but referee Gary Sutton waved away the protests. The result saw Swindon, winless in 14 matches, climb up to 22nd in League One. Hart said: "It was a penalty. But you make your own luck. There's no point in whining or moaning. "I'd prefer to talk about the performance and how courageous the players were to play like that on a windy day, in very difficult conditions on a bumpy pitch. "We created chances and we should have won the game before the penalty. I'm very pleased with the players, we moved up the table which is great and there's going to be plenty of twists and turns between now and the end of the season. We've got to make sure we're consistent."
