Hart has slim striker hope

Swindon boss Paul Hart has not given up hope of adding to his squad before the loan deadline but admits a new face appears increasingly unlikely. Hart is in the market for a striker to boost Town`s survival bid but, having laid the groundwork, only has until 5pm on Thursday to get a deal done. "We have made a few enquiries for experienced players but we are edging on the side of no-one else coming in," he told the club`s official website. "The clubs we are targeting are sometimes reluctant to let players out. Some Premier League sides prefer their players to join Championship clubs on loan, but we shall see what happens. "There are a few hours to go but we don`t want to bring in anyone for the sake of it." Meanwhile, the Robins have received a boost with the news centre-back Scott Cuthbert does not need surgery on his troublesome cheekbone and will be included in the squad for Saturday`s trip to Brighton.
