Greer to join Seagulls
Swindon defender Gordon Greer is set to have a medical at Brighton after agreeing personal terms on a three-year contract with the Seagulls.
The npower League One rivals have agreed an undisclosed fee for the 29-year-old, who still had a year left to run on his contract with the Robins.
Greer, who made 52 appearances for Swindon last season, is expected to complete his move to the Withdean Stadium on Monday afternoon.
"Everyone knows we were looking for an experienced centre-half and Gordon is the type of player we wanted," Brighton boss Gus Poyet told his club's official website.
"He is an experienced defender and had a very good season at Swindon, helping them reach the play-offs.
"I am looking forward to seeing him on Monday for his medical and to complete all the paperwork."
