Frampton pens Swindon extension

Swindon have agreed to extend the loan of Millwall defender Andy Frampton for another month. The 31-year-old made just one appearance in his first month at the County Ground, in the 3-3 draw at Yeovil on October 30, when he picked up an ankle injury which ruled him out of the remaining games of his initial spell.

However having trained with his parent club, Frampton has regained full fitness and will join up with the rest of the Town squad for the home match with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, staying with the Robins until January 4.

The emergency loan window may have closed last Thursday, but Town have been able to take advantage of a seven-day period in which to extend existing deals.
