Douglas out for Town

Swindon will be without captain Jonathan Douglas for their tricky trip to sixth-placed Oldham. Midfielder Douglas saw red during Tuesday`s disappointing 3-2 FA Cup exit at the hands of non-league Crawley and now starts a three-match suspension. Simon Ferry and Michael Timlin are competing to take his place in the middle of the park. Loanees David Ball and Andy Frampton come back into the fold having been ineligible for the midweek cup tie, which saw goalkeeper Phil Smith overcome an arm injury to take his place between the sticks. Whether manager Danny Wilson opts to make changes following the embarrassing defeat remains to seen, but his inconsistent Town side face a difficult test against the Latics as they look to become the first league side to win at Boundary Park this season.
