Douglas doubt for Swindon

Skipper Jonathan Douglas is Swindon's only injury concern ahead of the visit of Sheffield Wednesday. The midfielder is making solid progress in his recovery from the groin injury he sustained during last Tuesday`s 1-0 defeat at Notts County, and manager Danny Wilson is hopeful he will be in contention to face the Owls.

Douglas missed the club`s 1-1 FA Cup draw at Crawley a week ago - a game which saw the return of Town striker Vincent Pericard (groin), goalkeeper David Lucas (shoulder) and defender Kevin Amankwaah (knee) from their respective injuries.

Loanee David Ball comes back into the equation having been ineligible for the cup encounter.

The game sees boss Wilson come up against the Yorkshire club he both played for and managed, reaching three domestic cup finals in the early 1990s as a player, while assistant manager Peter Shirtliff, goalkeeper Lucas and midfielder Jon-Paul McGovern have also enjoyed memorable times with Wednesday in their careers.
