Defender desperate to face Rovers
The defender was forced to miss Saturday's goalless draw at Leyton Orient and faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday's 1pm kick-off at the County Ground.[LNB]Amankwaah told the Robins' official website: "It's touch and go for this weekend but I really want to be fit for the derby.[LNB]"The injury is getting better. I feel a lot stronger than at the end of last week but I will keep working hard with the medical staff.[LNB]"I have played against Rovers plenty of times.
