Caddis joy at wearing armband

Paul Caddis has spoken of his pride at skippering Swindon on the final day at Tranmere, leading Town to a 2-0 victory as they signed off an otherwise disappointing campaign on a bright note. Caddis took the captain's armband in the absence of Jonathan Douglas and David Lucas at Prenton Park and the versatile former Celtic midfielder loved every minute of the responsibility. "It was a privilege to be given it, and I was delighted that we managed to get the three points as well," the 22-year-old told Swindon`s official website. "Everyone knows it has been a terrible season but that win gives us a nice little boost. "Being a captain generally means you`re someone the lads respect and look up to, and still only being young it's a good thing for me to have been given, getting the win was the icing on the cake."
