Austin looking for repeat showing

Swindon striker Charlie Austin has brushed aside any suggestions that his debut season success last term was a flash in the pan. The 21-year-old, who is currently preparing for the forthcoming campaign with his team-mates in Austria in what is his first pre-season as a professional, registered 20 goals in 38 appearances following his October switch from Poole Town. And he is prepared to prove his doubters wrong by enjoying another successful season as the Robins look to banish the memory of their play-off final defeat to Millwall. Austin told Town`s official website: "I`ve just got to do what I was doing last season really. I`m not worried about it at all. "I`ve just got to keep putting myself in the right positions and backing myself to take the chances when they come. "People make a lot of second season syndrome but I can`t see that affecting me to be honest."
