Swansea City defender Tom Williams should be sidelined for only two weeks after travelling to Germany for a hernia operation.
The 26-year-old will undergo surgery at the Munich Hernia Centre in a bid to improve his chances of returning to first-team action before the end of February.
"They've been sporting some good results in term of rehabilitation times,'' physio Richie Evans told the Swans' official website.
"Under the old techniques, the rehabilitation would normally take between four to six weeks.
"But the players that have gone to Germany for the new operation have been back playing after just two weeks.''
