Swansea spurn fresh bid for Bodde

Wigan have had a fresh bid turned down for Swansea City's injured Dutch midfielder Ferrie Bodde. Latics boss Roberto Martinez made a £4.5m bid for Bodde in August and the Swans have now spurned a revised offer. BBC Wales understands Wigan could be prepared to pay up to £4.5m for the 27-year-old after add-ons. Swans chairman Huw Jenkins said: "The terms of the payment have improved, but our stance on Ferrie remains the same and the offer has been rejected." Bodde is still recoverin.... read more
