Swans suffer Bessone blow

Swansea City left-back Federico Bessone could be sidelined for up to four weeks after picking up a hamstring injury in Saturday's goalless draw with Bristol City.

On the plus side, Swans boss Roberto Martinez was pleased to see goalkeeper Dorus de Vries keep his first clean sheet since returning to action following a fractured cheekbone.

"It was great to see Dorus back enjoying his football after such a horrific injury,'' said Martinez. "He's back to his best.

"He's played a lot of games for us since he joined last season and, when we've needed him, he's been there for us. He's a great asset for Swansea City.''
