Swans sign Reds starlet

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez has continued his rebuilding job at the Liberty Stadium by agreeing a deal to bring Liverpool youngster Paul Anderson to South Wales on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old winger is expected to team up with the rest of the Swans squad on their pre-season tour of Sweden.

Anderson moved to the Reds from Hull City for an initial £200,000 last year and Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez thinks the teenager will benefit from the arrangement.

He said: "It's a good move for Paul. I've talked about the number of players we have here and it's difficult for them all to play.

"By going to Swansea, Paul will get good experience."
