Swans reveal deadline-day drama
The club snubbed a move from Premier League side Fulham for defender Rangel while Wigan had a £1million bid rejected for midfielder Britton. Championship rivals Nottingham Forest also failed in their attempts to sign the in-form Pratley. Swans chairman Huw Jenkins told BBC Sport: "There was serious interest in Leon, Darren and Angel. "But we resisted the temptation to let them go, taking into account the high value we place on the players as individuals in the squad."
