Swansea City have signed Trinidad & Tobago international defender Radanfah Abu Bakr on an initial three-month contract.
The 22-year-old has spent a couple of spells on trial with the Swans and is happy to have finally been given a chance to impress.
He told the club's official website: "I am absolutely ecstatic to get my chance here and I can't wait to get going.
"The move happened quite quickly, but I'm really looking forward to the challenge.
"I have been at the club on two separate occasions on trial, the first back in 2007 and again last season.
"After spending another week here earlier this year and after playing in a reserve game against Plymouth, Roberto Martinez did express an interest in signing me but then he left.
"But this time I hope that I can impress over the next three months until Christmas and land myself a longer deal."
