Swans agree Craney deal

Swansea City have completed the £150,000 signing of on-loan midfielder Ian Craney.

Craney, 24, moved to the Liberty Stadium in November from League Two new-boys Accrington Stanley with a view to a permanent deal in the transfer window.

The Liverpool-born midfielder has been in impressive form in his eight Swansea appearances to date and has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with the League One promotion hopefuls.

Craney started his career at non-league Altrincham before making over 100 appearances for Stanley in two years at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.
