Swansea City manager Kenny Jackett has backed injured midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones to play again.
The Swans midfielder has been troubled by a long-running knee injury which has restricted him to just six appearances this season.
Tudor-Jones recently flew to the US to see world-renowned specialist Richard Steadman and has been tipped to make a full recover after undergoing surgery.
"We all felt Owain would need micro-fracture surgery, which he had in the summer, all over again," Jackett told the Swansea Evening Post.
"But Mr Steadman was quite happy with the way that operation had worked and felt it was scar tissue behind the patella which was giving him trouble.
"That's a new thing which has never been mentioned before. He's had it removed now and we're all hopeful.
"Mr Steadman feels he will make a full recovery."
