    Swans' starlet to fly again

    12 Oct 2006 - 15:33:55

Swansea have been boosted by the news that injury-plagued midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones has been given the all clear to resume training.

The 21 year old has been sidelined since damaging knee ligaments last New Year's Eve against Swindon, but after spending the week at the National Sports Centre in Lilleshall, he has been given the nod to resume full training.

Swans boss Kenny Jackett said: ''We hope the knee troubles Owain's had - and he has had a few for a 21-year-old - are now a thing of the past and that he can go on and have a successful career.''

Meanwhile, Bayo Akinfenwa is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a stress fracture of his left shin.
