Rodgers happy to change
Boss Brendan Rodgers hailed substitute Marvin Emnes for his lead role in Swansea`s 2-0 win over Leicester and admitted he is not afraid to make the necessary changes regardless of how many minutes are on the clock.Rodgers started with Stephen Dobbie in attack against the Foxes but, after a frustrating opening 45 minutes, introduced debutant Emnes who had an immediate effect, breaking the deadlock with almost his first touch. The hosts were a different proposition after the interval and Emnes then set up Scott Sinclair late on and he got his name on the scoresheet having already struck the underside of the crossbar in the second half."In the first half Leicester were playing deep in defence and I just sensed we needed to change things," said Rodgers."Stephen Dobbie likes to get the ball into feet and get into the box but it just wasn't happening. Once you get the sense that you need to change then I'm not worried if it is after 45, 50 or 60 minutes."Marvin knows the system here and he came on and was fantastic. We won the ball back really well and Darren Pratley's pass for him was exquisite, then Marvin showed great strength and pace to finish terrifically well."
