Pratley boost for Swans

Swansea have received a boost with the news that Darren Pratley did not suffer a broken leg during Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Wycombe.

The 22-year-old midfielder was stretchered off during the 2-0 victory at the Liberty Stadium following a collision with team-mate Guillem Bussy.

However, although the full extent of the injury is yet to be revealed, initial scans have revealed no break.

"It doesn't look as bad as we first thought," physio Richie Evans told the club's official website.

"There is no break showing up on the initial x-ray and hopefully it is nothing more than badly bruised.

"We'll have another look on Wednesday morning and assess the injury again.

"But I'm pleased to say that Darren was able to leave hospital on Tuesday night on crutches and hopefully he'll be okay.''
