Swansea City defender Marcos Painter is happy to pen a new contract with the Championship newcomers as he believes the club is moving in the right direction under Roberto Martinez.
Jason Scotland, Angel Rangel and Darren Pratley have all committed their futures to the Swans recently and Painter is only too happy to join them.
"With my contract finishing at the end of the season, it's good that I've been able to sign a new deal at such an early stage of the campaign, meaning that I can go out now and concentrate on my football," the 22-year-old told the club's official website.
"I'm happy at the club, I'm enjoying my football and I feel that it's an exciting time to be a part of Swansea City.
"We're moving in the right direction and hopefully we can build on the fantastic start we've made to the season, starting by putting in a good performance at Crystal Palace on Saturday."
