Orlandi set for Swans bench role

Published: 19 Mar 2010 - 10:11:00

Orlandi, who has been missing for the last four weeks with a hamstring injury sustained against Derby, should be available having returned to training. The midfielder took a full part in Thursday and Friday's practice and suffered no reaction to the problem so may be fit enough to take a place on the bench. Sousa, who managed Rangers for four months last season, has the luxury or no new injury or suspension concerns ahead of the clash with Neil Warnock's side. Striker Gorka Pintado is pushing for a start having been on the bench for the 2-0 defeat to West Brom on Tuesday after returning from a four-game ban, while defender Garry Monk and striker Nathan Dyer are both fine having come through midweek unscathed after previously suffering from calf and ankle problems.
