Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has rubbished reports suggesting Roberto Martinez is being lined up to replace Carlos Queiroz as Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant manager at Manchester United.
Queiroz is expected to be named as Portugal's new manager in the near future, with reports claiming Martinez, who guided the Swans to the League One title last term in his first full season at the Liberty Stadium, was in the running to be Ferguson's number two.
However, Jenkins told the Swansea Evening Post: "It's nonsense.
"We haven't heard anything and I know for a fact there's nothing in these stories."
