Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez has set his sights on trying to recruit a number of new players from continental Europe this summer.
The likes of Angel Rangel, Ferrie Bodde and Guillem Bauza were instrumental in the Swans winning the League One title and Spaniard Martinez is ready to cast his net wide again.
He told the South Wales Echo: "We will definitely go into the continental market. If we want to be successful in the Championship, we have to do it.
"As the boys we brought over last year have showed, there are great professionals available in Europe who are prepared to give everything for Swansea City.
"They have a fantastic attitude and bring something different to our squad.
"We're looking at British players as well because we have to.
"There are certain positions where the players need to know the British game inside out, they need to have a certain number of British-tempo games under their belt."
