Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez forgot about the result for once after seeing his side crowned as the champions of League One.
The Swans lost 2-1 at home to Yeovil Town, but Carlisle United's reverse by Southend United meant that Martinez's men had sealed the title in any case.
The Spaniard said: "We didn't get the result we wanted, but overall after 44 games we got what we wanted in terms of our dream. Only one team can win the title and this is special.
"It's a day the players should remember for the rest of their lives and a day the fans should cheer and remember.
"With two games to go, it speaks volumes of the season that the players have had and it's a day to be very, very proud of Swansea City.
"At this stage of the season it's really hard to get the points, but I think we can afford not to speak about that today.
"If you saw the scenes of the fans at the end of the game, it is something special."
