Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins is pleased Leeds United failed in their attempt to have their 15-point penalty quashed.
The news means that the Swans have officially been crowned League One champions although they will have to wait until August before being handed the silverware.
Jenkins said: "I wasn't surprised by the verdict on Leeds. The only people upset by all of this has been our fans and players. They are there forever - owners, managers and players within clubs come and go.
"But our priority this season was getting promoted. We achieved that and so now getting the title is the icing on the cake.
"We'll now talk to the Football League and see what they want to do. I'm not certain about us receiving the trophy down at Brighton on Saturday because we would only have a maximum of 900 supporters.
"I'd like to see it given to us at our first Championship match at the Liberty Stadium this summer - that way more of our supporters could enjoy the triumph."
