New Swansea City signing Shefki Kuqi has admitted he is shocked to see his former employers Crystal Palace struggling in administration.

The Championship side have been docked ten points and Kuqi, who is set to face the Eagles on Tuesday evening, feels sorry for Neil Warnock and his men.

Speaking to BBC Sport Wales, he said: "It's disappointing and we don't want to see that happen to anybody.

"You have to give lots of credit to Crystal Palace - the manager and players and everybody.

"It could have been easy to throw the towel in because they don't get paid.

"But they've kept playing and keep doing what they can do which is winning games."
