Knight wins Jackett's praise

Swansea City manager Kenny Jackett was quick to pay tribute to Leon Knight after the striker's man-of-the-match display during the 2-0 win at Brentford on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old netted both goals in the victory, replicating his feat from the second leg of last season's play-off semi-final against the Bees.

Jackett said: "Knight's goals per game record is very, very good since he has been at our place.

"He has scored good goals and has scored very good goals, and he seems to like Griffin Park.

"I felt his whole performance overall was good and he retained the ball very well."

Knight's double took his goals tally to 16 in 30 appearances since he moved to City from Brighton in a £125,000 deal in January.
