Knight rejects Posh move

Swansea City's transfer-listed striker Leon Knight has rejected approaches from Peterborough United and Northampton Town.

The 24-year-old has been told he can leave the Swans for a fee of £125,000, with the Posh having agreed a deal with the South Wales club.

However, Knight is waiting on further offers to be made before deciding on his preferred destination.

He told BBC Wales: "No disrespect to League Two, but I feel that I'm better than that and I'm going to leave that alone.
"
"My agent has spoken to Posh director of football Barry Fry and said no thank you.

"Barry Fry was quality about it and just said 'good luck' and that was that, and I've had no contact with Northampton.

"Obviously Swansea will want to get back their money on me, but at the end of the day it's my career.

"They put me on the transfer list and now they're just going to have to wait until the right thing comes up."
