Swansea City defender Izzy Iriekpen has hit out at the club for allowing the contracts of a number of players to run dangerously close to their end.
Iriekpen is one of eight first-team regulars whose deal expires in the summer and the central defender is unhappy with the club's stance on renegotiating new contracts.
"They've left things really late," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"To be honest, as a player that is kind of disrespectful. Nothing has been on the plate.
"If you are playing well and nothing is on the table, there is nothing you can do if other clubs are coming in - they are leaving it too late.
"People's contracts should be sorted six months before the end of the contract.
"If they don't want to keep you they should tell you."
