Hughes interested in Swans

Falkirk boss John Hughes has revealed his interest in talking to Swansea City over their expected managerial vacancy.

Current Swans boss Roberto Martinez is in talks with Wigan Athletic over moving to the Premier League club and Hughes would be interested in speaking with the Championship outfit.

Hughes, who spent one season as a player with the Swans, led Falkirk to the Scottish Cup Final this season.

"I'm contracted to Falkirk, I'm enjoying my job at Falkirk and it would have to be an official approach for anything else to happen," he said.

"It's a massive club, I had a great time at Swansea when I was there.

"I'm flattered to be linked with such a good club, a wonderful city and really warm people.

"I would be very interested if the approach was official."
