Swansea City goalkeeper Dorus de Vries is set to make a quicker than expected return to action after suffering a fractured cheekbone.
The 27-year-old Dutchman had seemed set for around two months on the sidelines after being injured against QPR, but is close to being back in contention in half that time.
Swans boss Roberto Martinez told the South Wales Evening Post: "Dorus is progressing extremely well, quicker than we expected.
"He is probably two weeks ahead of what the doctor predicted. Dorus has shown no fear since the first day and has been training well. We will assess him and see how he feels.
"For the next three or four weeks he will have to wear the protective mask, maybe even longer."
