Allen wants a Wales united

Swansea midfielder Joe Allen has called on the Cardiff public to unite behind the Welsh cause for Friday's crucial Euro 2012 qualifier.Wales face Bulgaria at the Cardiff City Stadium needing a result after losing their opening qualifier in Montenegro last month. As a Swansea player, Allen was booed on his last appearance for Wales in the capital and hopes fans can put aside club loyalties for the sake of the national team.Allen, who could be a slight doubt for the game with a groin problem, said: "I didn't get the best of receptions last time, but deep down I'm sure everyone will be supporting Wales and hopefully they will get behind the team."If these games are going to be played at grounds like Cardiff, people have to remember that we're a nation united and that everyone needs to support all the players because that helps to bring the best out of them."I took it in good spirit last year and I think that's how the fans intended it to be. Obviously it was a strange experience and a new feeling but I don't think it affected me or anyone else too much."
