Agustien seals Swans switch
Swansea have finally completed the signing of midfielder Kemy Agustien on a two-year deal. The Dutchman, 24, impressed boss Brendan Rodgers on the club`s pre-season tour of Holland over the summer and was all set to sign until his trial was cut short by a knee ligament injury sustained in the final friendly against ADO Den Haag.Agustien has been in south Wales for the past month completing his rehabilitation and, after proving his fitness via a strict medical with City staff, has now put pen to paper. He arrives at the Liberty Stadium as a free agent having left AZ Alkmaar at the end of last season and has experience of the Championship under his belt from a season-long long spell with Birmingham when they won promotion to the Premier League in 2008/09.Agustien will now work on his match fitness and is hoping to be involved in next Saturday`s Championship clash at Reading. He told City`s official website: "It`s nice to finally get everything agreed. I`m so excited about it. Swansea made a big impression on me out in Holland and I had a great week with the lads."
