We had an off day - Rodgers

Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers felt his side were architects of their own downfall and deserved to lose at Preston. For the third straight game the Swans let in two goals as an Iain Hume double gave the strugglers victory to leave Rodgers bemused. He said: "The disappointing factor was our performance. Normally my players have been magnificent in defence and with the ball but here was one of those off days and in this league any team can punish you. "We didn't deserve anything from the game - we were poor defensively. "We made a terrible start but I thought the reaction from the players was excellent. But defensively we weren't good enough, if you want to be successful you can't defend like that. "There's no arguments with the penalty but we reacted well from it."
