Swansea defender Ashley Williams is winning his fitness battle to feature in Wales` Euro 2012 qualifier in Switzerland on Tuesday night. Williams, wearing the armband in the absence of Craig Bellamy, turned his ankle in the latter stages of Friday's loss to Bulgaria at the Cardiff City Stadium. The 26-year-old was given the all-clear to travel to Basle after an X-ray on Saturday and has shown considerable improvement since, playing a full part in training on Monday. Caretaker manager Brian Flynn said: "His ankle has got better every day and I am very confident he will be able to start." Swans manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping Williams is 100% should he take part for the national team, with Saturday`s trip to Reading in mind.
