Triple concern for Hawthorns trip

19 October 2009 16:19
Skipper Garry Monk, striker Gorka Pintado and winger Andrea Orlandi are all doubtful to feature at The Hawthorns. Former Southampton defender Monk is struggling with a calf injury, which also ruled him out of the trip to Ipswich. Pintado is likely to miss out with a thigh injury, as is fellow Spaniard Orlandi, who returned on Saturday but has since suffered a recurrence of his thigh injury. Manager Paulo Sousa does have some positive news, though. The side go into the match without any suspension worries and could welcome back Wales international Joe Allen, who had been out with a hamstring injury.
