Tate happy with Swans' character

The Irishman, who was bootboy for under-pressure Ipswich boss Roy Keane when the pair were at Manchester United, believes the Swans can have a successful season if they continue to show the spirit on display. "That's when your character comes out, when you're not at your best, but you don't get beat and you come away with a point away from home," he told the South Wales Evening Post. "They say if you win at home and draw away then you're doing well. "This is a tough place to come because obviously they were desperate for their first win of the season. I think we've come here and probably had most of the possession."
