Swansea's Ki Sung-yueng has been ruled out for up to 10 days with a hamstring injury suffered in Saturday's game against Southampton.

The South Korea midfielder will miss this weekend's Barclays Premier League clash with Newcastle at St James' Park as a result of the injury picked up late on in the 1-1 draw at St Mary's.

"A scan today revealed a grade one tear of the hamstring which is likely to rule him out for just seven to 10 days," read a statement on club website swanseacity.net.

Better news for Swans fans came with confirmation that striker Danny Graham (back) and defender Chico Flores (thigh) should both recover from their injuries in time for the trip to the north-east.

Meanwhile, striker Leroy Lita has returned from a loan spell at Birmingham.

Lita has scored three times in 10 appearances for the npower Championship club since joining on a three-month deal in September but will now return to his parent club for treatment on a troublesome thigh injury.
