Swansea boss hails Serran debut

Serran had waited six months for his league debut after joining for £80,000 from Espanyol in the summer, but could now get more game time for the Swans.[LNB]Martinez told the South Wales Evening Post: "It's a long season and you need a big squad.[LNB]"Albert was full of energy and he had a big impact early in the game.[LNB]"His performance is what comes from working very hard behind the scenes on a daily basis. You could see he enjoyed himself out there.[LNB]Serran added: "I am very happy with my first performance in the Championship. It was a very good start for me. I enjoyed it - now I am waiting for more chances to play."[LNB][LNB]
